Rain in Kyoto

When I think about the passing day, the song "Ciągle pada" ("Still raining") recorded in the last millennium by Czerwone Gitary group comes to my mind. The only difference is that at the end of my long walk, contrary to the lyrical subject of the song, I was already walking with an open umbrella. I even bought one for this occasion - a large and transparent one, the most popular model here. Now I look at it and wonder how to pack it into my luggage to take it home 😅
Since rain was today's leitmotif, I have a few short films for you to watch with sound:
The stone garden at Ryōanji Temple: https://youtu.be/0ojMni6IITw?si=iR2aUkbv-HLkJI9x
Main Pavilion (Official) in the Imperial Palace: https://youtube.com/shorts/hydcdIGjO2U?si=zHWO1jk8vZIDAxlk
Another pavilion in the imperial palace: https://youtube.com/shorts/C0TdHHRaoH8?si=DJktRk8Pcb59WCgi
And also photos from places I visited.
Ryōanji Temple with its famous stone garden. But I have to admit that the stone garden, although very atmospheric, is only a tiny part of the entire temple complex. In addition, there is also a beautiful landscape garden.

I noticed that although it is quite cold and most of the fruit trees still have bare branches, today they were beautifully decorated with raindrops.
Imperial Palace - you can take a walk outside the former official residence of the Emperor of Japan.

There was also the Golden Pavilion, which is de facto a golden pagoda. Even in the pouring rain, it was super picturesque.

And finally the bamboo forest in Arashiyama. Unfortunately, the crowds of umbrellas discouraged me from taking pictures, so there is only one, but the place is really beautiful and I will gladly go back there.
