20th-century castle

Today, just like when visiting the castle in Himeji, rain has been cut all day. Well, I start to get used to it and I only put the hood on my head. Or maybe I will start to tie castles and rain with each other? For example, while going to Wawel castle in Krakow, I will take an umbrella, because you know: castle = rain;) This time it was a castle in Osaka. The one built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, then destroyed and expanded by Tokugawa Ieyasu, then destroyed several with other disasters, including the civil war during Meiji and raids during World War II, and finally it was beautifully rebuilt in the 1960s. Visiting it leaves a completely different impression than those from the Himeji. While a few days ago I wandered around the empty rooms of the original structure, today I visited a regular museum, with concrete walls, showcases and educational films. And with an elevator carrying tourists almost to the top of the donjon. Maybe I will finally remember which of the three commanders who are attributed to the unification of Japan, was whose vassal, who defeated whom in a fight, and who reformed the state administration :)

However, I will also add a culinary curiosity. I ordered tasty soba pasta with vegetables at a local bistro. The vegetables were cooked to a state of closer, which was in the rite, while after frying the soba was very similar to ... pasta from an instant soup;) Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo, because the service looked at me so suspiciously, but you can imagine it easily.

Meanwhile, two shots of the 20th-century castle.
